Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a) Practitioner PD for FAB Members and Families


Join us for the upcoming Abecedarian Approach Australia (3a) Practitioner 2-Day Professional Development Course for Bundaberg FAB (Family & Baby Network) Members, Parents & Caregivers: 9:00am - 4:00PM: Day 1 - Saturday 7th September, Day 2 - Saturday 14th September 2019 at The Generator, Bundaberg.

Learn how to use 3a strategies including Conversational Reading, Enriched Caregiving, Learning Games and Language Priority throughout the day with children aged 0-5 years to support the development of cognitive, communication, social-emotional and motor skills in early childhood. Explore how to support parents as first teachers of their children utilising the 3a approach.

The Abecedarian Approach is an evidence-based set of teaching and learning strategies developed by Prof. Joseph Sparling and Prof. Craig Ramey for use by families and professionals caring for children aged 0-5 years in arrange of setting including at home, in the community, family day care, long day care, kindergarten, playgroup and outreach settings.

Course cost $290 includes 2-day training resources, certification exam fee, morning tea & lunch.

Maximum of 16 participants per course.
